Playful Warriors Summer Camp is designed for children, tweens, and teens ages 6–18. Campers are grouped by developmental level (approximately elementary, middle, and high school), and activities are thoughtfully tailored to each age group.

No. Playful Warriors Summer Camp is open to children and teens with or without prior therapy experience. In some cases, we may recommend additional sessions to support readiness for the camp environment, but therapy experience is not required.

The camp is designed for youth with OCD, anxiety disorders, or related challenges. During the screening process, our clinicians will help determine whether the camp is a good fit for your child’s needs.

Playful Warriors Summer Camp is staffed by licensed mental health counselors with extensive experience working with children and teens. Our clinicians are trained in evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety and are passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and engaging camp experience.
What does a typical day at camp look like?
Each day includes a fun theme and a balance of structured therapeutic activities and play.

Is food provided?
Food is not provided. Because food can be a source of anxiety or OCD for some youth, families are asked to send their child with lunch and snacks so they can eat alongside peers in a supportive environment.
What treatment options are available after the camp ends?
Ongoing outpatient therapy may be available following completion of the camp. Continuing care options can be discussed during or after the camp week.

- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD and anxiety
- Play Therapy, which increases engagement, creativity, social learning, and emotional regulation

- Option 2: Includes an optional 60-minute screening interview (not included in the camp fee) to develop goals and discuss parent follow-up.

- $800 non-refundable deposit (tax included) to reserve your child’s spot
- Deposit includes the clinical interview
- A second payment of $1,200 is due the week before camp if individual therapy sessions are not covered by insurance
- If therapy sessions are covered, applicable copays are due at the time of service
